Medical Microneedling

MEDICAL MICRONEEDLING

For those looking for a smooth complexion, microneedling, also known as percutaneous collagen induction therapy (PCI), is a non-surgical minimally invasive solution that uses very fine, short, sterile needles to create tiny punctures in your skin. These micro-punctures prompt a natural, collagen-stimulating healing process that corrects flaws and improves skin quality. This treatment is clinically proven to deliver an improvement over time for several skin conditions, including facial wrinkles and facial acne scars. We also offer microneedling brightening treatments specifically for those concerned with lightening dark spots, melasma, hyperpigmentation, or general pigment concerns anywhere on the body. The first 20 minutes of your appointment includes a numbing ointment application to ensure a pain-free experience.

How It Works:

Not all Microneedling Pens Are Equal

We use the Candela Exceed medical microneedling device which is the latest technology quickly replacing dermal rollers and other cosmetic microneedling methods on the market. The Exceed device offers enhanced treatment versatility as the first dual-indicated, FDA-cleared medical microneedling system for the treatment of both facial wrinkles AND facial acne scar reduction. Give us 12 weeks, 4 treatments, and less than 1 hour per treatment to get you on your way to smooth, firm, youthful-looking skin. Each treatment session delivers powerful results with minimal downtime. You can expect redness for 24 hours after this treatment.

Adding platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or “liquid gold” from your own blood contains growth factors that help stimulate the collagen regeneration process. During your microneedling treatment, we apply the PRP topically on to your face and neck to promote regeneration.

At Subtle Elegance Aesthetics, we offer a variety of microneedling options to suit every budget. Let us help you choose the best suitable treatment for your unique skincare needs! For optimal results, we recommend a series of 3-4 treatments, depending on which microneedling treatment you choose.
